New Theatre Season Kicks off

As you can see, our first production is not only poignant, but also continues a special relationship and collaboration we have with an off-Broadway theatre company – Fault Line Theatre. Charise Green, the playwright, was with us two years ago as our theatre students were the first to work on the play in a workshop setting. The play is now getting its world premiere production here at Xavier, and will be produced in New York City in 2018. Needless to say, I am proud not only of the collaboration and world premiere, but mostly of the dialogue that I hope the play will facilitate.

Art of Parts 2.0!

Art of Parts 2.0 is finally here! Buy a part of art and belong to a whole. This is a crowdsourced art project where you can buy a percentage of a work of art and belong to a community of owners. The event will be held at Aug. 20 from 6-9pm at the Phyllis Weston Gallery in Obryonville (Cincinnati). The buy-in period will only be 3 hours! So, come and experience the frenzy of art buying within this short time. At the end of the 3 hours I’ll cut it up on site and hand out the parts! You can see the live webcam stream from the show on the night of Aug. 20 from 6-9pm. See more about the project at:

“I’ve always wanted to make art that’s affordable and could never figure out how to do it, until now.”                   – Jonathan Gibson –
