Xavier Art Students Exhibit at the Contemporary Art Center

Xavier’s Art Department has been invited to exhibit their work at Cincinnati’s Contemporary Art Center. The show is in response to the CAC’s current exhibition “Myopia,” by Mark Mothersbaugh. Mothersbaugh’s show features his different explorations of art throughout his life, even diving into behind the scenes features of the visual and audio style of DEVO.

The show is set to run from December 7th – 11th, with a reception for visitors on December 10th! Come by the CAC to support the XU Art Department as they celebrate this exciting opportunity.

Art of Parts 2.0!

Art of Parts 2.0 is finally here! Buy a part of art and belong to a whole. This is a crowdsourced art project where you can buy a percentage of a work of art and belong to a community of owners. The event will be held at Aug. 20 from 6-9pm at the Phyllis Weston Gallery in Obryonville (Cincinnati). The buy-in period will only be 3 hours! So, come and experience the frenzy of art buying within this short time. At the end of the 3 hours I’ll cut it up on site and hand out the parts! You can see the live webcam stream from the show on the night of Aug. 20 from 6-9pm. See more about the project at: www.artofparts.com/blog
